In addition to starring in the “Ghostbusters” reboot, Kristen Wiig has been keeping herself busy with voiceover work — sort of.
Wiig appeared on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Thursday and told the host that she redubs episodes of his show for overseas audiences. Meyers played a clip of Wiig doing just that, but found it odd that she speaks English in all the redubs.
Wiig said she does not do all the voices on the show herself, and that Meyers’ bandleader Fred Armisen contributes his vocal stylings as well. They then played a clip from an earlier episode of the show featuring Shaquille O’Neal, with Armisen and Wiig dubbing over Meyers’ and O’Neal’s voices for Australian audiences.
