Ratings: ‘Ghosts’ Premiere Scares Up the Most Viewers for a New Comedy This Fall

But Fox’s 2021 ”Thursday Night Football“ debut dominates primetime

CBS execs aren’t “boo”-ing over Thursday’s “Ghosts” series premiere. The sitcom’s debut landed the most total viewers, 5.341 for a new comedy series thus far this fall.

“Ghosts,” which aired for an hour last night, will settle in as a 30-minute comedy next week. It followed the hastily rewritten “United States of Al” Season 2 premiere, which covered the fall of Afghanistan.
