“Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” will debut on Netflix Friday, Nov. 25, the premium streaming network announced Wednesday.
Along with the release date announcement, Netflix released a first-look trailer at the continuing adventures of the Gilmore girls, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) — and they are as fast-talking quirky as ever.
“Do you think Amy Schumer would like me?” Lorelai asks in total Lorelai fashion.
“Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” is created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, who executive produces, writes and directs with Daniel Palladino. The show will consist of four 90-minute installments, each representing one of the four seasons.
The new series is produced by Dorothy Parker Drank Here Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
Bledel, Graham, Scott Patterson, Melissa McCarthy and Kelly Bishop are returning, and Sean Gunn, Keiko Ageno, Liza Weil and Yanic Truesdale are also on board to reprise their roles.
