Riley and Maya are headed upstate in the newest episode of “Girl Meets World,” and they’ll meet a familiar face along the way.
Rider Strong makes his first appearance as Shawn Hunter on Season 3 of Disney Channel’s “Boy Meets World” spinoff series, and in this exclusive photo (below), he’s reunited with best friend Cory (Ben Savage), as well as Topanga (Danielle Fishel) and Maya’s mother Katy (Cheryl Texiera).
The episode, titled “Girl Meets Upstate,” will see Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) and Riley (Rowan Blanchard) head to upstate New York to help Maya find her true artistic voice but neglect to tell Cory and Topanga where they’ve gone.
“Girl Meets World” airs Fridays at 8:30 p.m. ET on Disney Channel.
