News of Westfeldt's appearance on the show first broke when the actress — whose own acting credits include 2011's "Friends With Kids" — was photographed shooting a funeral scene with "Girls" star Adam Driver in New York. And now you know — yeah, it's totally a thing that's happening.

HBO had no further details about Westfeldt's appearance on "Girls," which was created by and stars Lena Dunham.

Hamm and Westfeldt have been together since 1997.
