“Glee” star Darren Criss will make his Broadway return as the lead in “Hedwig and the Angry Inch,” starting a 12-week limited engagement in April.

Criss takes over the lead role once played by Oscar host Neil Patrick Harris in the Tony Award winning revival, beginning April 29 at the Belasco Theatre.

FOX’s “Glee,” in which Criss plays New Directions songster Blaine Anderson, concludes its six-season run with a two-hour series finale on March 20.

Criss made his Broadway debut in 2012, filling the shoes of Daniel Radcliffe in “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.”
