‘Glee’ Star Lea Michele Sings ‘Let It Go’ in Season 6 Premiere (Video)

Actress sings hit from Disney’s “Frozen” on Fox musical drama’s season opener

Lea Michele is really letting “Glee” go in style.

Fox published a clip from Friday’s Season 6 premiere of Ryan Murphy‘s musical drama, which features Rachel Berry (Michele) returning to McKinley High to deliver a dramatic rendition of Disney’s hit “Frozen” single. The acceptance-themed song is especially relevant, considering this episode kicks off “Glee’s” final run.

The video alternates between Rachel’s on-stage performance, in which she’s wearing an ice-cold-blue gown, and her wandering through the corridors of her old high. Finally, she posts a sign-up sheet for her former glee club, the New Directioners.

As TheWrap previously reported, cast members Jenna Ushkowitz, Jayma Mays, Mark Salling and Dianna Agron are set to appear for the show’s final run. Jane Lynch reprises her role as Sue Sylvester and shares a word of caution about reviving the a cappella club. “Bound” star Gina Gershon will appear, too, as Blaine Anderson’s (Darren Criss) mother.

“Glee’s” sixth and final season was originally slated for 22 episodes, but was trimmed to 13 in July.

“Glee” premieres Friday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. on Fox, but will move to its 9 p.m. time slot one week later. The series two-hour finale is slated for March 20.
