‘Grace and Frankie’ Season 6 Trailer: Grace and Nick’s Newlywed Bliss Is Torturing Frankie (Video)

But don’t worry, ’cause the girls have a new business idea to help them “Rise Up” together

Netflix dropped the trailer for the sixth season of “Grace and Frankie” Thursday, which reveals that, yes, Frankie (Lily Tomlin) is just as freaked out about Grace (Jane Fonda) getting married as she was at the end of Season 5. And while she’s doing her best to pretend to be happy for her friend, it’s very obvious she thinks Grace wedding Nick (Peter Gallagher) was a terrible idea.

In the sneak peek for Season 6, which launches Jan. 15, you’ll also see Sol (Sam Waterston) and Robert (Martin Sheen) preparing for Sol to undergo surgery, Grace adjusting to being a wife again, and Grace and Frankie coming up with a new business idea called “Rise Up” — which is literally a device that helps you get off the toilet — and so much drinking.

Also, Frankie almost gets arrested — which is ironic, seeing as Fonda is the one who is regularly getting arrested in real life.

The sixth season is the show’s second-to-last, as Netflix renewed the comedy for a seventh and final season in September. Production on the 16-episode Season 7 — which will make “Grace and Frankie” the longest-running Netflix original series ever, including both comedy and drama, with 94 episodes — will begin early next year.

“Grace and Frankie” stars Fonda as Grace and Tomlin as Frankie, two women whose lives are turned upside down when their husbands reveal they are gay and leave them for each other. Both sparring partners and partners-in-crime, Grace and Frankie form an unlikely and unbreakable bond and face their uncertain futures head-on, hand-in-hand. Together with their ex-husbands and children, they discover the true definition of “family,” with laughter, tears and plenty of mood enhancers along the way.

“Grace and Frankie” Season 6 premieres Jan. 15 on Netflix.
