Greta Van Susteren: ‘I Don’t Agree With Any of My Fox News Colleagues’ About Clinton’s Health

Greta Van Susteren said she "doesn't agree with being snarky" about Hillary Clinton's health

Greta Van Susteren criticized her Fox News colleagues, saying they were making light of Secretary of State HIllary Clinton's decision to postpone her testimony about the American deaths in Libya because she suffered a concussion.

Getty ImagesIn a blog post Wednesday night, Van Susteren said there are no grounds to suspect Clinton would fabricate the concussion to avoid testifying, as some ctitics have suggested she did.

"She has never shied away from a fight (assuming the testimony would even amount to that), she has never declined to testify before in her decades of public service … and very significantly, she has agreed to testify in January, so they will hear from her," Van Susteren wrote. "I don't agree with being snarky about someone's health."

Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed in the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Van Susteren said that if congressional Republicans urgently needed to hear from Clinton about the deaths, they could have called her to testify earlier.

"There are many, many unanswered and very serious questions in my mind, and as the Secretary of State, it is her job to answer them," Van Susteren wrote. "I would have liked to have had her testify weeks ago and answered the questions — but now that she is sick — the right thing to do is wait until she is better."
