One Shondaland alum is returning to the fold.

“Grey’s Anatomy” star T.R. Knight is joining Season 2 of Shondaland ABC drama “The Catch,” TheWrap has learned.

Knight will recur over multiple episodes, but his role is being kept under wraps.

ABC’s midseason replacement premiered earlier this year and stars Mireille Enos as a private investigator who is engaged to a man who turns out to have been conning her, played by “Parenthood” star Peter Krause.

Series creator Jennifer Schuur exited the series along with co-showrunner Josh Reims, and “Scandal” vet Allan Heinberg subsequently took over as showrunner and executive producer.

Knight, an original cast member on “Grey’s Anatomy,” played Dr. George O’Malley for five seasons before leaving in 2009. He most recently starred on Hulu’s Stephen King adaptation “11/22/63,” opposite James Franco and Sarah Gadon.

He is represented by Gersh and Thruline Entertainment.
