‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Sandra Oh Makes TV Comeback in ‘Killing Eve’ Trailer (Video)

The BBC America thriller comes from Phoebe Waller-Bridge

Sandra Oh is known for portraying an unbreakable friendship between Cristina Yang and Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) on “Grey’s Anatomy,” but in her first starring TV role since the ABC series, it appears that her relationships will be a little darker.

In the first trailer for BBC America’s “Killing Eve,” Oh and co-star Jodie Comer play a game of cat and mouse as they are both weirdly obsessed with the other.

Oh plays titular character Eve, a bored MI5 security officer whose desk job isn’t cutting it. Comer plays Villanelle, a mercurial killer. Based on the novellas by Luke Jennings of the same name, “Killing Eve” is written by showrunner and executive producer Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Oh was recently seen in a guest role as Abby Tanaka on “American Crime” and as Veronica in the 2016 movie “Catfight.”

“Killing Eve” is produced by Sid Gentle Films Ltd. for BBC AMERICA. Sally Woodward Gentle and Lee Morris also executive produce, Colin Wratten will serve as a producer, and Oh is an associate producer.
