Haggis Directing ‘The Next Three Days’

First collaboration for the the writer-director and Lionsgate since “Crash.”

Paul Haggis will write and direct thriller "The Next Three Days," an adaptation of the French film "Pour Elle." Lionsgate has acquired remake rights from Wild Bunch and Fidelite Films.

About a couple whose personal choices alter their lives forever, the film marks the first collaboration between Lionsgate and Haggis since the Oscar-winning "Crash," for which Haggis received the 2005 Academy Award as producer and screenwriter.

Haggis and Michael Nozik will produce through their Highway 61 Films, along with producers Marc Missonnier and Olivier Delbosc of Fidelite Films.
