Ratings: NBC’s ‘Hannibal’ Tumbles Versus Blowout NBA Finals Game 4
The CW’s soft “Beauty and the Beast” premiere lands network in last place

The Golden State Warriors knotted up the NBA Finals Thursday with a blowout 21-point win over the hometown Cleveland Cavaliers. The margin of victory between ABC and its competition was even more dramatic.
That said, due to the nature of live sports, the below fast national ratings for ABC are approximate.
For The CW, its soft “Beauty and the Beast” season premiere was quite low, but also consistent with the series’ prior season-opening episodes.
ABC was first in ratings with a 5.3 rating/18 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 14 million, according to preliminary numbers. “Jimmy Kimmel Live Game Night” at 8 p.m. received a 2.9/12 — up 53 percent from last year’s comparable evening — and 8.9 million viewers. “NBA Countdown” at 8:30 earned a 3.6/13 — up 50 percent from 2014 — and 10 million viewers. Game 4 itself at 9 scored a 6.3/21 — up 21 percent — and 16.3 million viewers.
Fox was second in ratings with a 1.2/4 and third in viewers with 4.6 million. “Bones” at 8 had a 1.1/4 and 4.9 million viewers. At 9, “Wayward Pines” got a 1.2/4 and 4.2 million viewers.
CBS was third in ratings with a 1.0/3 and second in viewers with 5.1 million, airing entirely reruns.
Univision was fourth in ratings with a 0.9/3 and fifth in viewers with 2.5 million.
NBC was fifth in ratings with a 0.8/3 and fourth in viewers with 3.9 million. At 8, “Dateline” got a 1.2/5 and 6.4 million viewers. At 9, “Aquarius” posted a 0.8/3 and 3.7 million viewers. At 10, “Hannibal” dropped 29 percent from last week’s premiere to a 0.5/2 and had 1.7 million viewers.
Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.4 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in viewers with 889,000. The season debut of “Beauty and the Beast” got a 0.3/1 and 908,000 viewers. At 9, the “iHeart Radio Ultimate Pool Party” had a 0.3/1 and 870,000 viewers.
