OLD SCHOOL
What better way to get pumped for one of the biggest party days of the year than watching Frank the Tank take a nude lap around the quad? Don’t forget your green hat, people.
CAN’T HARDLY WAIT
After watching this ’90s party movie classic, you’ll can’t hardly wait to confess your feelings to the girl of your dreams at a wild house party. Cross your fingers she looks like Jennifer Love Hewitt.
DAZED AND CONFUSED
Still haven’t seen Richard Linklater’s ode to high school hazing and partying? It’d be a lot cooler if you did. Alright, alright, alright?
SUPERBAD
Still struggling to work up the courage to make a move on that girl you’ve had a crush on for years? If the hilarious and lovable losers played by Jonah Hill and Michael Cera can, anybody can. Your drunken journey, however, probably won’t be as funny.
BACHELORETTE
This awesome, acidic 2012 comedy starring Kirsten Dunst, Lizzie Kaplan and Isla Fisher features one of the best 48-hour binges on film, with laughs and catharsis to spare.
PROJECT X
This buzzy mockumentary put the high-school house party on steroids, essentially making a natural disaster film with drugs, alcohol and property destruction.
THE HANGOVER
While this trilogy of comedies turned Bradley Cooper into a leading man, and primarily underscores the hazy day-after effects of imbibing, each film ends with amazing slideshows of the unseen debauchery that would send any moviegoer to the nearest bar.
WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS
This underrated comedy from Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher predated “The Hangover” with its reversed narrative device, waiting until the end of the film to show an incredible, totally hammered wedding ceremony featuring the movie stars and can’t-miss support from Rob Corddry and Lake Bell.
COYOTE UGLY
While this movie is lighter fare with a “Star is Born” twang, the front-end of the film is a pretty dazzling parade of leather chaps, push-ups bras and flaming shots.
BACHELOR PARTY
This 1980’s classic not only helped establish Tom Hanks as a major movie star, but also introduced the idea of the donkey show into pop culture.
REVENGE OF THE NERDS
Nerds of the world found their rallying cry in this story of a group of losers who form their own fraternity when none of the “cool” frats will have them.
