Talk about wizardry: "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" has sold more than $32 million in advance tickets. And it doesn't open until midnight Thursday.

Warner Bros. says that's a pre-opening record.

The final installment in the "Harry Potter" series is on a record-breaking binge. It's on more screens than any other "Harry Potter" movie — more than 11,000 in 4,375 locations — and according to Warners, the number of IMAX screens, 274, breaks an industry record.

Many of the first shows already are sold out, according to the studio.

The previous seven films in the "Harry Potter" series have grossed a total of $6.37 billion worldwide."
