Harry Styles Takes Over From Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show’ (Video)

Singer will next be seen in Christopher Nolan’s “Dunkirk,” hitting theaters on Friday

When Harry Styles wants something, he gets it. So when the “Dunkirk” actor wanted to take over the hosting chair from Jimmy Fallon, his wish came true.

During Styles’ appearance on “The Tonight Show,” Fallon was explaining a present he once got from Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks. She gave him a jade bottle, which, according to the legend, makes your wish come true when you make one and blow into the bottle right after.

“I won’t tell you what the wish was… but… you’re here!” Fallon joked.

Styles took the jade bottle from Fallon and took a while to come up with a wish — what else could he need? — before finally blowing into the bottle.

Almost on cue, Fallon fell off his hosting chair and Styles slid on over to take over the job; Fallon remained facedown on the floor.

“We’ve got a great show for you tonight,” Styles said to the camera. “Harry Styles is on, Jenny Slate and The Who! We’ll be right back!”

The “Sign of the Times” singer will next be seen on the big screen in Christopher Nolan’s “Dunkirk” opposite Fionn Whitehead, Tom Hardy and Mark Rylance. It hits theaters on Friday.
