HBO is turning the podcast “2 Dope Queens,” featuring Jessica Williams and Phoebe Robinson, into a series of specials.

The four hour-long specials based on the weekly stand-up and storytelling podcast will launch in 2018, HBO announced on Thursday.

“Jessica Williams and Phoebe Robinson prove you can be hilarious and socially conscious at the same time,” said HBO Programing president Casey Bloys in a statement. “We’re looking forward to bringing these very funny, talented women and their unique points of view to the HBO audience.”

“2 Dope Queens” launched in 2016 and features Williams and Robinson discussing sex, race and life in New York while joined by friends and fellow comedians.

“We are so stoked to be partnering with HBO for these specials,” Williams said. “Excited to add a couple more Khaleesis to the network!”

“‘2 Dope Queens’ and HBO going half on a TV baby? A dream come true!” Robinson added. “The work wife and I are beyond thrilled that the formula we’ve perfected over the past four seasons of doing the podcast (Ignorance x Cocoa Butter + Comedic Honesty) is being brought to this network.”

Williams is known for “The Daily Show,” “Girls” and her starring role in the recently released Netflix film “The Incredible Jessica James.” Robinson has appeared on “I Love Dick” and “Broad City.”

Williams, Robinson and Chenoa Estrada will executive produce.
