Hillary Clinton: Ivanka Trump ‘Part of’ Father’s Agenda and Should Be ‘Held Accountable’

“Everyone associated with him… they’re either on board with that, or they’re not,” Clinton says

Hillary Clinton says Ivanka Trump’s ongoing silence means she’s on board with her father’s agenda.

In an interview with Refinery29, Clinton was asked if she believes that Ivanka is “complicit” in the Trump administration’s actions, considering she’s been presented as a moderating influence on her dad.

“Everyone associated with him… they’re either on board with that, or they’re not,” Clinton said. “And if they’re not, they need to be speaking out or leaving.”

She added: “If they remain silent and just give lip service to contrary points of views, then they are part of his agenda and should be judged and held accountable for that.”

This isn’t the first time Ivanka has faced criticism over her role as a senior advisor to the president. In an April, she was forced to defend herself during an interview with CBS, saying, “If being complicit is wanting to… be a force for good and to make a positive impact, then I’m complicit.”

In March, “Saturday Night Live” writers ripped her with a spoof ad for a new Ivanka Trump fragrance called, what else, “Complicit.”

With Scarlett Johansson as the first daughter  the cologne’s tagline proclaimed: “For the woman who could stop all this ― but won’t.”

Clinton’s comments came during a nationwide tour promoting her new book about her , “What Happened?,” which officially hits book shelves Tuesday
