Hope Davis Lands Another HBO Role, This Time With Tea Leoni

“Mildred Pierce” actress will co-star in comedy set in New York fashion world

Tea Leoni has just received some company in her return to television.

"Mildred Pierce" and "Six Degrees" actress Hope Davis has signed on to co-star with Leoni in the upcoming HBO pilot "Spring/Fall." Davis will play Eve, the partner of Leoni's character Margo, in the comedy, which will be set against New York's fashion world.

Davis is no stranger to HBO, having had a recurring role in the station's canceled — or is it? — series "In Treatment," and a part in last year's TV movie "The Special Relationship," about former president Bill Clinton and former British prime minister Tony Blair. (Davis played Hillary Clinton.)

The pilot, which is being co-executive produced by Leoni and her manager Jimmy Miller and former "Six Feet Under" writer/producer Kate Robin, who wrote the "Spring/Fall" script.
