Director Seth Gordon has left the follow-up to his 2011 hit over scheduling conflicts, a spokeswoman for New Line Cinema said Wednesday.

The studio is looking for a replacement and the position has attracted interest from many parties, according to the studio. It still plans to begin shooting the film this fall.
