Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) is hands down the best lawyer in Philadelphia, which means she's also the queen when it comes to getting her way. Keating has probably manipulated everyone on "How to Get Away With Murder" at least once -- here are nine of the most memorable examples.
Wes GibbinsAnnalise killed his girlfriend, Rebecca, and told him she had no idea where the love of his life was. Straight lied to his face. He literally spends an entire season looking for Rebecca believing she's still alive. Annalise also knew his mother, and never mentioned that tiny detail.
Nate LaheyThere isn't anyone on the show Keating has manipulated more than this man. She framed him for her husband Sam's murder, which landed him in jail in Season 2. Still, Nate continues to lie for her. The loyalty.
Catherine HapstallNot even Keating's clients can trust her. She had Catherine Hapstall framed for the murder of the prosecutor trying her for the murder of her adoptive parents. That was the same prosecutor Asher Millstone killed, but that's a different story.
Griffin O' ReillyLila Stangard's lying, cheating boyfriend (so maybe he deserved it) was set up for her murder when Frank, Annalise's number one sidekick, planted Lila's cell phone in Griffin's car.
Asher MillstoneSo Annalise never specifically did anything to Asher, but she lied to him over and over and over again. He knew nothing about Sam's murder, and felt like an outsider. She also gave the DA information on his father, which ultimately led to his death. Poor Asher.
Emily SinclairShe was onto Annalise and was looking into every detail of her life, but Emily wound up dead because, well, she was messing with Keating and her people. She was sent down so many paths by the Keating Five that she probably would have never figured Annalise out.
Bonnie WinterbottomNo one is more loyal to Annalise than Bonnie. Well, besides maybe Frank. Keating lied to Bonnie (about a few things) and even called her "mousy." Clearly she'd had enough, because one day Ms. Winterbottom told Annalise that she wanted her to die. Don't worry: Bonnie ends up staying in her life -- because loyalty.
