Hulu Hires Warner Bros. TV Executive Craig Erwich as Head of Content

Former Warner Bros. TV development executive Craig Erwich is Hulu’s new Senior Vice President, Head of Content, the streaming service announced on Monday. 

Erwich, who oversaw development, production and business operations for at Warner Horizon Television for the past seven years, starts his new position on April 7 — tasked with leading Hulu’s original programming.

Prior to joining WHTV, Erwich helped create and launch top programing for the Fox Broadcasting Company, including “Pretty Little Liars,” “24,” and “The Voice.”

“Craig is the perfect guy for the job – he has been developing shows and programming networks for over 20 years. He has impressed me and others who’ve met him with his collaborative approach, humility and tenacity to do what he believes,” Hulu CEO Mike Hopkins wrote in a letter to staff.

“I’m excited about what we can do together, under Craig’s leadership, to continue to be an innovator and a leader in the space.”
