IATSE Strikes New 3-Year Deal With Commercial Producers

The new agreement comes into effect Oct. 1

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees have reached a new three-year agreement with the Association of Independent Commercial Producers that covers commercial artists and below the line technicians.

The new agreement comes into effect Oct. 1 and expires Sept. 30 2016. No details of the agreement were immediately available.

“We recognized the value of early negotiations when both sides are willing to address the important issues and provide stability to the members of the IA and the commercial producers,” IATSE President Matthew Loeb said in a statement.

IATSE is a labor union representing artists and technicians across the entertainment industry while AICP focuses on those engaged in commercial production.
