Icahn Exits Yahoo’s Board of Directors

Activist investor says he is “focused on other matters.”

Billionaire financier Carl C. Icahn said late Friday that he was resigning as a director of Yahoo, saying the board no longer needed an activist investor.

Mr. Icahn said that his attention was “focused on other matters” and that he did not have the time to concentrate on Yahoo’s business.
