ICM Bolsters Indie Film Unit With Kristen Konvitz, Oliver Wheeler

Konvitz joins ICM from Stay Gold Features, while Wheeler is promoted to agent

ICM Partners announced two additions to its Independent and International Film Department on Monday, with Kristen Konvitz hired as an agent for the division and Oliver Wheeler promoted to the same position. Both will report to department head Jessica Lacy.

Kravitz joins ICM from Stay Gold Features, where she was Head of Production. She was involved with the Sundance hit “Patti Cake$,” which was bought by Fox Searchlight for $9.5 million, as well as A24’s “Under The Silver Lake” and SXSW award winner “The Strange Ones.

She also worked as Director of Film for the crowdfunding site Indiegogo and also worked in acquisitions at Wild Bunch and The Weinstein Company.

Wheeler joined ICM in 2013 as an assistant and was admitted into the trainee program a year later. He joined Lacy’s department as a coordinator last year.

Recent films repped by ICM’s Independent and International Film Division include Raoul Peck’s Oscar-nominated documentary “I Am Not Your Negro,” Eleanor Coppola’s “Paris Can Wait” to Sony Pictures Classics,” and several sales to Amazon including Woody Allen’s “Cafe Society” and “Wonder Wheel” and Jim Jarmusch’s “Paterson” and “Gimme Danger.” Their upcoming films include the Zellner Brothers’ “Damsel” and Brian De Palma’s “Domino.”
