ICM Partners has named partner Mark Gordon to the newly created role of Head of International Scripted Television, the company announced Monday.

Gordon will relocate to London for his new position, where he will manage the agency’s international scripted television business, working closely with Pippa Lambert and the team of agents currently based in the London office, as well as with Michael Kagan, who will continue to lead all aspects of the agency’s domestic and international nonscripted business.

“With the growing importance and complexity of the international marketplace, we made a strategic decision to expand our presence in the scripted television to provide a wider range of services to our clients in the U.K. and other international territories,” the ICM board of directors said in a joint statement. “Mark is a highly regarded senior packaging agent with deep relationships with studios, networks and talent and is uniquely qualified to take on this significant role.”

Gordon began his career at Broder Webb Chervin Silbermann, where he became an agent in 2005. He was named partner at ICM in May of 2012, following the agency’s management buyout.
