Iggy Azalea opened up about a few things during her appearance on Andy Cohen‘s “Watch What Happens Live”, including the crazy rumor that she had a sex change at a young age.
“The craziest rumor that I’ve ever heard, that really went around, was that I had a sex change when I turned 18 and that I was born with a penis and my name was Corey,” Azalea said.
Laughing, she added, “Why would my name be Corey? It would be Liam, that’s my boy name… My mom always said if I was a boy I’d be named Liam.”
During the interview, the “Work” singer also spoke about her decision to have plastic surgery last year. She recently admitted she got a nose augmentation and a boob job.
She said it’s best to be open “if you’re going to do something that’s obvious.
“Everyone’s seen what your nose looks like before,” she said.
The Australian rapper was also asked about her various “feuds,” namely those with Macklemore and Britney Spears. For example, in Macklemore’s “White Privilege II,” the singer calls Azalea out by name and accuses her of cultural appropriation.
“I read his interview and he was like, ‘I should have called,’” she said. “You should have and you still didn’t, so what’s up with that?”
