Hey MTV, why don’t you just ban all future pre-VMA performances and rehearsals for female rappers?
On Friday, Iggy Azalea joined Nicki Minaj‘s backup dancer — who was bitten by a live snake during their practice performance — as the latest victim of the newest curse, when she took a nasty spill off stage at Time Warner Cable and Lifebeat’s MTV Music Video Awards concert at the Avalon.
Azalea was performing her song “Fancy” — of course — when she simply ran out of stage. The fall was pretty hard — especially mic’d up as she was — and several members of the crowd let out sizable shrieks of concern.

As it turns out, Azalea was miraculously OK, and even continued the song.
She shared the video on her official Instagram page, with the accompany text: “Sorry but it would be a crime not to share this with you all, I know I laughed. #StillFinishedtheSongTho #KeptOnRapping #TheShowMustGoOn”
We laughed too, Iggy.
