IMAX Building 2 Theaters in Mongolia

Move puts wide screen country in 58 countries

IMAX will install two theaters in Mongolia as part of a partnership with New Tour Safaris, the companies said Friday.

After construction finishes, IMAX will operate in 58 countries worldwide. International expansion has been key to the big screen company’s financial planning and in recent years it has aggressively expanded to countries such as China, Russia and India that boast growing populations of moviegoers.
