A new TV teaser for this summer’s “Independence Day: Resurgence” reveals even more menace from invading space aliens.
“They’re not screaming,” a creepy long-haired Brent Spiner says at one point in the new clip of some aliens. “They’re celebrating.”
In another new scene, Maika Monroe calls out to her father, Bill Pullman‘s returning (now former) President Whitmore, who seems to have been possessed by an otherworldly force and declares, “She has arrived.”
We always knew they were coming back, Fox’s description of the new film begins. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction
Fox will release “Independence Day: Resurgence” on June 24.
