The Walt Disney Company and Dhar Mann Studios are teaming up. The two companies announced their new content deal on Friday, which will be focused on creating new original content for kids, tweens, teens and families.

The first project in the partnership is a 20-episode series order that will be produced by Dhar Mann Studios for Disney. Additional details will be announced at a later date.

Dhar Mann Studios has one of the strongest digital audiences of any creator-made studio. The production company has over 27.5 million subscribers on YouTube alone, as well as more than 170 million followers globally and nearly 300 million views each week across platforms. The production company is known for creating scripted shows for young audiences that often act as morality plays, emphasizing what’s right and wrong while capturing the universal experiences of growing up.

“Dhar has built a distinctive voice and an enormous global following, with stories that are uniquely his own,” said Asad Ayaz, chief marketing and brand officer for The Walt Disney Company, and Debra OConnell, chairman for Disney Entertainment Television, in a joint statement. “He and his team have forged an extraordinary connection with their audience, and we believe their optimistic, deeply relatable storytelling will connect in a meaningful way with Disney fans.”

“For me, this is so much bigger than a content deal,” Mann added. “I grew up with Disney stories. Now I get to experience that same magic through the eyes of my own family, and the idea that we now have the opportunity to create stories for Disney for the next generation is incredibly meaningful to me.”

The founder then emphasized the direct relationship he and his team have built with their fans: “Learning what makes them laugh, cry, share and, most importantly, feel seen,” he said. “Disney has spent generations creating stories and characters that become part of people’s lives. Bringing those two worlds together gives us an opportunity to dream much bigger about what these stories can become, where they can go and how many people they can impact.”

This will mark Dhar Mann Studios’ second content deal with a major media company. Earlier this year, Fox Entertainment signed a 40-title microseries deal with the production hub. DMS also just recently purchased a new campus in Los Angeles, which the company plans to transition into in 2027.
