‘Inside Job’ Part 2 Adds Adam Scott as an Illuminati in First Clip, Sets November Release (Video)

Eight all-new episodes premiere just in time for Thanksgiving

Incognito Inc. and the Deep State will keep chugging along in a first-look clip for new episodes of Netflix’s “Inside Job,” which has added Adam Scott as a key member of the Illuminati, Reagan’s (Lizzy Caplan) main competition on her path to world domination. The eight-part “Inside Job” Part 2 will premiere on the streamer Nov. 18.

The adult animated series, which hails from creator and executive producer Shion Takeuchi (“Gravity Falls,” “Regular Show”), takes viewers deep into the inner-workings of the shadow government, where an incredibly dysfunctional and narcissistic team ensures the globe’s smooth operations through an interlocking web of bizarre conspiracies. While navigating her workplace full of reptilian shapeshifters and psychic mushrooms, the ambitious and anti-social tech genius Reagan must also maneuver her unhinged father, who (SPOILER) snagged the promotion she’d been gearing for at the end of Part 1.

In a first-look clip at the second set of episodes (not technically a Season 2 but a “Part 2”), Reagan is left frustrated by her father’s betrayal, opening up in an Anonymous Anonymous meeting where she instantly butts heads with Ron Staedtler (Scott), the Chief Mind Erasing expert for the Illuminati, Cognito’s rival company. His character description is as follows: “A lone wolf who’s not shy about his opinions, he’s not the most popular guy in the office for taking a moral stance on what they do. But despite working for a rival company, he might just become Reagan’s most unlikely ally.”

“Inside Job” also stars Christian Slater, Clark Duke, Andrew Daly, Bobby Lee, John DiMaggio, Tisha Campbell, Chris Diamantopoulos and Brett Gelman. Alex Hirsch also executive produces.
