Danny Rand didn’t ask for trouble… but what’s a billionaire-turned-Immortal Iron Fist to do?
Danny (Finn Jones) is “just trying to keep the peace” in the Season 2 trailer, but it’s clearly affecting his sleeping habits, much to the chagrin of Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick), his partner in more ways than one.
“What are you fighting for?” she asks Danny in the trailer. “Trying to do what’s right,” he says.
But it looks like that’s much easier said than done, as just after that Davos (Sacha Dhawan) appears, wanting the power of the Iron Fist for himself, and clearly still angry about Danny getting the honor for himself (then then running off to New York).
“Do you feel that you can just walk through this world as if it belongs to you?” Davos asks Danny. “The Iron Fist is not a weapon to be held, it is to be used.”
Colleen enlists Misty Knight (Simone Missick) to help stop Davos, giving us a glimpse at what will be the Daughters of the Dragon (in the comic books, the name is given to Colleen and Misty by the villain Steel Serpent, aka Davos).
“I have become the thing you never had the strength to be,” Davos later tells Danny after a bloody fist fight.
