Jack Osbourne revealed to People Magazine last weekend that he has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an autoimmune disease that impacts movement, vision, coordination and speech.
Osbourne, son of rocker Ozzy Osbourne and "America's Got Talent" judge Sharon Osbourne, said that he found out he had the disease two weeks after the birth of his daughter Pearl.
Osbourne is 26 years old.
There is no known cure for multiple sclerosis, which usually occurs in young adults and lowers life expectancy by between 5 to 10 years.
"I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, 'Why now?' " Osbourne told the magazine. "I've got a family and that's what's supposed to be the most important thing."
Osbourne first came to prominence as a star of the MTV reality show "The Osbournes," which gave viewers an inside look at the famous rock family. He also appeared on shows like "That '70s Show" and "Dawson's Creek" and anchored his own program, ""Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie."
He has acknowledged struggling with drug and alcohol addictions in the past, but has said he is now clean.
