Boyz II Men, you say? Not this Hanukkah.
Get ready for Boyz II Menorah, a supergroup made up of “Garden State” actor Zach Braff, real-life pop star Charlie Puth, Christopher Mintz-Plasse (a.k.a. “McLovin’), Josh Peck from “Drake and Josh,” and, of course, “The Late Late” show host James Corden.
The music video for their new single, “A Week and a Day,” has the five guys singing to a girl offscreen about the eight presents they want to give her.
It’s got all the hallmarks of a good ’90s pop music video, including a softly-spoken intro, matching outfits, synchronized dance moves, passionate lip-synching, and that one member who loves to be shirtless for no reason (Braff).
“Girl, it’s that special time of year,” Corden croons as his face appears inside the calendar square for the first day of Hanukkah. “The festival of lights. But ain’t no light shine brighter than the one in your eyes.”
Cut to the whole crew in white outfits looking very sincere. They’ve got a week and a day to show how much they care — cause “When you light the candles baby, I wanna be there.”
