James Corden Has Stephen Curry Belt Disney Songs in ‘Carpool Karaoke’ (Video)

What started off as a mini golf session grew into a “Moana” sing-a-long

Stephen Curry — player for the Golden State Warriors and considered one of the greatest shooters in NBA history — is apparently just good at everything, judging by a recent appearance on “The Late Late Show with James Corden.”

Corden sought to teach the athlete some life lessons, but realized that Curry didn’t really need any so instead they turned to “Carpool Karaoke.”

Corden originally brought Curry to an indoor miniature golf course in a bid to be his life coach.

“Today I’m going to pick him up, whisper some wisdom, and just send him on his way,” Corden said. “It’s the closest relationship he’ll ever have to ‘The Karate Kid’ and Mr. Miyagi.”

To Corden’s astonishment, Curry was good at everything, from golf to air hockey to “Dance Dance Revolution” — so they went on back to the car. That’s where Curry asked if he and Corden could do some “Carpool Karaoke,” which has become a staple of the late night show.

At first Corden was hesitant, saying that he only did it with singers, but Curry convinced him, especially once he said he listened to a lot of Disney songs, including the soundtrack from “Moana.”

The two belted out the Oscar-nominated song “How Far I’ll Go” from “Moana” and then “Love Is an Open Door” from “Frozen,” where Curry, as Hans, ended up proposing.

In the end though, maybe Curry did learn something from the late night show host.

“The best lesson I’ve learned from James Corden is how to waste a perfectly good afternoon,” he said.
