That’s the way to use your head, James Franco. Not.

The “Spider-Man” star was sued on Monday for allegedly head-butting a photographer during a Lana Del Rey concert at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in 2014.

In the suit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, David Tonnessen says he was snapping some pics at the show when he spotted Franco “smiling rather demonically.”

After which, the suit claims, Franco, with a “blank expression of joy on his face,” charged Tonnessen and head-butted him in the stomach, sending him to the ground “in shock and pain.”

“Following the assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress, defendant Franco ran laughing into the crowd, leaving Plaintiff wounded and in pain on the ground,” the complaint claims.

A spokeswoman for Franco has not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment.

The suit seeks unspecified damages.
