‘Glee’s’ Jane Lynch on Cory Monteith: ‘We’ve Lost a Really Great Guy’ (Video)

"I don't think he left one day unlived," Monteith's co-star tells Jay Leno

Jane Lynch wants us to remember Cory Monteith as a "real bright light" who would pay his own way to meet with a dying child whose last wish was to meet him.

Lynch discussed her late "Glee" co-star, who died Saturday in a Vancouver hotel room following an accidental overdose, on Wednesday's "Tonight Show." She described him as "one of the biggest hearts, [he] was a real bright light."

"He was always aware that [the show's success] was a gift and he was quite generous and one of those adventurous types of people," she told Jay Leno. "You know, I always admired how he would get up and, you know, he'd fly to Mexico, he'd throw parties for his friends."

She added: "I don't think he left one day unlived and he was a real bright light in our family, we've lost a really great guy."
