There’s at least one person who isn’t so thrilled with the newfound friendship between Rogelio and Michael on The CW’s “Jane the Virgin.”
That would be Jane (Gina Rodriguez) herself, who, in an exclusive sneak peek from Monday’s episode, is seen trying to talk her dad (Jaime Camil) into backing off a bit from his whirlwind bromance with her ex-boyfriend (Brett Dier).
Rogelio and Michael bonded over impressions. That’s the kind of stuff for-life friendships are made of, and Rogelio’s boyish enthusiasm is almost tangible when Jane brings up the M word. But it’s making things awkward for her, she says.
She and her baby-daddy/new boyfriend Rafael (Justin Baldoni) are having some issues of their own, and having Michael — who still clearly has feelings for Jane — hanging around with her family is bound to make things uncomfortable. Plus, Michael should probably try to move on too.
But not before one last mani-pedi between bros! It was supposed to be a surprise … but now it will be a parting gift.
