A new trailer for “The Janoskians: Untold and Untrue!” shows the prankster nature of the Janoskians and their dream to sell out London’s iconic Wembley Arena.
Since the five Australian buddies began posting videos on YouTube four years ago when they were all still teenagers, they have accumulated a massive online following: 1.6 million followers on Twitter, 2.03 million YouTube subscribers and 1.34 million Facebook likes.
The trailer features the quintet — Jai Brooks, Luke Brooks, James Yammouni, Daniel Sahyoune and Beau Brooks — pulling off cringe-worthy pranks and offering somewhat-true revelations.
The movie will expose the uncensored and semi-true story behind the beginnings of the Australian prankster group. In the unrated mockumentary, the group fights and makes up as they aspire to sell out the Wembley Arena.
The mockumentary also features social media stars Nash Grier, Meg DeAngelis, Kendall Schmidt, The Vamps, Janina Gavanker, and more.
It’s the latest release from Awesomeness Films, a joint venture by DreamWorks Animation and Hearst Corporation that focuses on millennial social-media phenoms like Vine star Cameron Dallas (“Expelled the Movie”).
It will be available for download August 28 via digital download.
