Jennifer Aniston is in talks to star in an untitled parenting comedy for STX Films, an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap.

Sophie Goodhart (“My Blind Brother”) wrote the script and will direct. The film is about an over-scheduled and over-burdened suburban couple who go to great lengths to try to recapture the fun of their youth.

Safehouse Pictures’ Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell are producing. Matt Schwartz and Douglas Banker are executive producing. Sam Brown is overseeing for STX along with Drew Simon and Jeannette Francis.

Safehouse previously teamed up with Goodheart on “My Blind Brother,” which premiered last year at SXSW and starred Adam Scott and Nick Kroll as brothers competing for the same woman, played by Jenny Slate.

Aniston is repped by CAA and Lighthouse Management. Goodhart is repped by UTA and 3 Arts Entertainment.

Deadline first reported the story.
