Jennifer Aniston to Play Sports Agent Denise White in Fox 2000’s ‘The Fixer’

The studio has acquired a pitch from “Dallas Buyers Club” screenwriter Melisa Wallack

Jennifer Aniston is attached to star in “The Fixer,” the Fox 2000 drama about Denise White, a former Miss USA contestant who went on to become a top sports agent and crisis manager, an individual familiar with the project has told TheWrap.

Fox 2000 acquired a pitch by “Dallas Buyers Club” screenwriter Melisa Wallack, along with a Men’s Journal article about White and her life rights.

The film will follow White’s rise through the male-dominated world of sports agents, which was previously depicted in Cameron Crowe‘s 1996 movie “Jerry Maguire,” starring Tom Cruise.

Aniston and Kristin Hahn will produce through their Echo Films banner along with Steve Barnett and Bernie Goldmann. Aleen Keshishian and Zack Morgenroth will serve as executive producer and co-producer, respectively.

Aniston is represented by CAA and Brillstein Entertainment Partners, while WME reps Wallack.
