How Jennifer Lawrence Prepped for Chris Pratt Sex Scene: ‘I Got Really, Really Drunk’

“It’s just a bizarre experience,” “Hunger Games” star says

Jennifer Lawrence has revealed how she got through her first sex scene on the set of her new movie “Passengers” with Chris Pratt.

“I got really, really drunk,” Lawrence said in a new interview. “But then that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, ‘What have I done? I don’t know.’”

In the sci-fi film, due out next year, Lawrence and Pratt play passengers on a ship that is traveling through space with thousands of people in suspended animation. But when Pratt is accidentally awakened 60 years early, he decides to wake up another passenger (Lawrence) so that he won’t be alone.

“It was weird,” Lawrence said. “And everything was done right; nobody did anything wrong. It’s just a bizarre experience.” “The Hunger Games” star said she was concerned about shooting the scene because Pratt is married to actress Anna Faris.

“[It] was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach,” she said. “And I knew it was my job, but I couldn’t tell my stomach that.” She managed to get through the scene, but had to call her family for support afterwards.

“So I called my mom, and I was like, ‘Will you just tell me it’s OK?’ It was just very vulnerable,” she said. “And you don’t know what’s too much. You want to do it real, you want everything to be real, but then… That was the most vulnerable I’ve ever been.”
