Jessica Chastain’s Face Gets as Red as Her Hair in First ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ Clip (Video)

First clip from Kathryn Bigelow's film about the hunt for Osama bin Laden features Jessica Chastain getting feisty with her CIA superior

The first clip from Kathryn Bigelow's "Zero Dark Thirty" has been released and it reveals the red-hot intensity that Jessica Chastain is bringing to the screen this December — and maybe the Oscar race too.

"Either give me the team I need to follow this lead," she says with bulging neck veins. "Or the other thing you're going to have on your resume is being the first station chief to be called before a congressional committee for subverting the efforts to capture or kill bin Laden."

That gets his attention. And maybe, just maybe — okay, definitely — this conversation marks the beginning of the end for the criminal mastermind responsible for 9/11.

TheWrap's Steve Pond wrote that Chastain's portrayal of the CIA analyst responsible for finding America's Most Wanted "will make her one of the top rivals for Best Actress honors." If she brings the heat in the rest of the movie like she does in this scene, it'll be hard not to agree.
