Jessica Jones Will ‘Never Be a Hero’ in Trailer for Netflix’s Final Marvel TV Show (Video)

Despite her heroics over two seasons — and the “Defenders” crossover — Jessica Jones is “not and never will be a hero.”

That’s according to the new bad guy Greg Salinger a.k.a. one of the names of the Marvel comics villain, Foolkiller, in the latest trailer released Thursday.

Here’s the official description for the third and final season of “Jessica Jones”: When Jessica (Krysten Ritter) crosses paths with a highly intelligent psychopath, she and Trish (Rachael Taylor) must repair their fractured relationship and team up to take him down. But a devastating loss reveals their conflicting ideas of heroism and sets them on a collision course that will forever change them both.

The series is executive produced by showrunner Melissa Rosenberg and Marvel TV chief Jeph Loeb “Marvel’s Jessica Jones” is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix.

The cast also features Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Benjamin Walker, Jeremy Bobb, Sarita Choudhury, Tiffany Mack, Jessica Frances Dukes, Aneesh Sheth and Rebecca DeMornay.

“Jessica Jones” will be the last TV series under the Marvel-Netflix TV partnership, which Netflix decided to end as Marvel’s parent company Disney is launching its own streaming service this year that will come with its own Marvel TV shows.
