Jim Carrey offered a very colorful take on Attorney General William Barr in his latest political artwork Friday.

Specifically, the color Carrey employed was red. And plenty of it.

Actor-artist Carrey unveiled his latest piece via Twitter on Friday, a day after Barr released a redacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election.

Carrey’s latest artwork depicted Barr awash in a hellish red hue.

In an accompanying message, Carrey wrote, “Most crooked AG ever – Barr none!”

Although Mueller’s team was unable to establish that President Trump was guilty of any crimes, it laid out evidence that Trump repeatedly committed acts capable of exerting “undue influence” over both the Russian-interference and obstruction investigations.’

Barr has come under criticism with regard to the Mueller report, including from “The Late Show” host Stephen Colbert, who accused Barr of telling a “baldfaced lie.”

During Thursday’s episode of “The Late Show,” Colbert noted a point in a news conference Thursday when Barr was asked if Mueller’s reason for not deciding whether Trump obstructed justice was related to the Justice Department’s longstanding guidance that a sitting president can’t be indicted. Barr said that “we specifically asked” and that Mueller said it had nothing to do with it.

Colbert noted, however, that in the report, Mueller cited the policy and wrote: “We recognize that a federal criminal accusation against a sitting president would place burdens on the president’s ability to govern.”

“So Barr stood up there,” Colbert continued, “and knowingly said a baldfaced lie. The president must be so proud.”
