Jimmy Buffett was hospitalized on Tuesday night after falling of the stage during a concert in Australia, according to the Australian Telegraph.
The singer was rushed to hospital with a head injury and is listed in "stable condition," TMZ reports.
The accident occurred while the 64-year old Buffett was performing an encore in front of a sell-out crowd at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney.
The colorful singer, who commands a legion of fans called Parrotheads, lay on the floor of the auditorium waiting for paramedics, while the crowd was asked to leave.
Reports vary about how the accident happened with some audience members citing a sudden flash of light that blinded Buffett and others speculating that he hit his head on a metal bar.
