Jimmy Fallon was feeling more than a little generous the Friday before Christmas. In a preview from the Dec. 22 episode of the “Tonight Show,” the late-night host teams up with JCPenny to give some kids in need a holiday treat they will never forget.
In the short clip, Fallon is seen talking to a very special guest, Giselle Burgess, the founder of Girl Scout Troop 6000 — the first troop for homeless kids in New York City. Along with some serious praise for all the amazing work she’s doing, Fallon gift Burgess and her girls with a hefty donation so that more children can enjoy all the organization has to offer.
Fallon hands over two giant checks, one for $50,000 courtesy of JCPenney and an additional $6,000 from the “Tonight Show.” Burgess can hardly contain her shock and tears of joy, which she shares with her daughters. Even Fallon seems to get a little misty-eyed.
