Emma Roberts was itching to try the hot new pastry fad, the "cronut," on Thursday. The croissant/donut hybrid is so popular that the line to buy one is several hours long. Not one to wait for anything, Roberts tried to cut that line and was turned away, forcing her to wait along with the lower castes.
She never got that cronut.
But no matter, as her "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" appearance later that day (in which she claimed that she didn't try to cut the line but that she simply hadn't seen it when she entered the bakery) netted her one glorious cronut.

So, if you, too, want a cronut but don't want to wait in line, the answer is simple: get famous enough to go on Jimmy Fallon.
