Katie Holmes needs to beef up her vocabulary before her next “Tonight Show” appearance.
The “Ray Donovan” actress appeared on the NBC show Thursday and played a game of Say Anything with host Jimmy Fallon. The game was simple: The two take turns saying random words, and the first person to stumble, blank or repeat a word gets a piece of tape stuck on their face.
Holmes started off fine, but stumbled early on in the first round. As a result, Fallon was allowed to put a piece of tape right across her nose.
Holmes didn’t do any better in the final two rounds, which led to her looking like a tape-faced monster before the game was through.
